Peptides Lab UK supplies research-grade peptides to laboratories, universities and independent researchers across the United Kingdom. Every batch is tested by an independent laboratory for HPLC purity, mass-spectrometry identity and bacterial endotoxin, and ships with its own Certificate of Analysis.
All products are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. Orders placed before the daily cut-off are dispatched the same day from UK stock.
Read about usA plain-language guide for anyone new to research peptides.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, the same building blocks that make up proteins, only much shorter. In the body, naturally occurring peptides act as messengers between cells, which is why scientists study them to understand repair, metabolism and signalling.
Well-known examples in research include BPC-157, TB-500 and GHK-Cu, each studied for a different biological question.
Research peptides are synthesised in a laboratory and supplied as a freeze-dried powder in a sealed vial. They are made for scientific study only. They are not medicines, food supplements or cosmetics, and they are not approved for human or animal use.
Quality is judged by the batch number on the vial, an independent purity (HPLC) result and a Certificate of Analysis for that batch.
In the laboratory, the powder is dissolved (reconstituted) in a sterile solvent such as bacteriostatic water, then added to cell cultures or assays to observe how cells, receptors or enzymes respond. Researchers keep the powder cold and dry, and the prepared solution refrigerated, following their own written protocols.
Lab supplies such as mixing water and storage cases are listed in the catalogue.
